About Course

Journalism’s undergraduate certificate program seeks to integrate journalism courses within the University by building a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of students, professors, and practitioners.

Journalism certificate students will learn the practice of reporting and verification and the art of crafting compelling non-fiction narratives in a variety of media. The program offers students continuity of instruction, advising on fieldwork, and a capstone experience of presenting their work.

Requirements

  • Minimum KCSE grade of D(plain).

Admission Requirements on reporting day:

  • KCSE Certificate/ Result slip.
  • Copy of I.D or waiting card/ Birth Certificate.
  • 2 passport size photos.

How to Apply

  • You can either visit the institution or download the application form here, fill it and submit it to our institution physically or send it to our email.

Fees Payment

  • Fees to be paid in full or in three installments of 50% + 30% + 20%.
  • Payment should be paid to the institute's bank account and the original printed bank deposited slip sent to the institute for receipting or through paybill No.522522 followed by account No.1270957090
  • Any unpaid cheque by the bank for whatever reason will attract a non-negotiable penalty of Ksh4,500.

  • Fees once paid is not refundable. Cash payment is not acceptable.
